Studio Estida developed a striking tailor-made interior for Brasserie Buut, in a former church building in Doorn, in which distinct colors and prints, botanical and floral elements and the reuse of existing materials are central.
Brasserie Buut recently opened in a former Reformed church from 1910 in Doorn. Estida was commissioned to give the large space the feeling of a cozy living room. “We wanted to keep the spacious layout in our brasserie, but create more intimate corners,” explains owner of Brasserie Buut Charline van Ommen.
Estida used warm colors such as emerald green, coral red and cornflower blue from the characteristic stained glass window in the acoustic wall covering, which is also decorated with flowers. The large space was made more cozier by means of high, stylish planters, seats and steel constructions. The floral print is also reflected in wall and furniture coverings.
Estida also made a powerful statement with a five-meter-long dining table and a bright yellow chesterfield sofa in the loft of Brasserie Buut. “We asked Estida to bring a city -and warm feeling to Doorn, with a number of eye-catchers where they are known for. We succeeded. “
